How to use and download the Kindle:

These special educational editions are available for Amazon’s Kindle eBook Reader exclusively for Premium Subscribers from the Roadmap website.  They are NOT available through the Amazon Kindle Store.  They are NOT accessible to the Kindle device wirelessly from Amazon’s Whispernet service.

Three steps to get these eBooks on your Kindle Reader:

  1. Follow the download link directions to copy the eBook file to your computer.
  2. Connect your Kindle Reader to your computer (USB connector provided).  The device will appear as a Kindle directory/drive.
  3. Drag and drop the eBook file into the documents folder on the Kindle Drive (illustration below).  For any difficulties, refer to the directions in the Kindle User’s Guide resident on your reader – Chapter 8.2 Handling Files through USB.

 

 

 

Sony Instructions

Please note that, when using the Table of Contents with the Sony Reader, some Chapters jump directly to Section I and skip the Introduction.

These titles are available for Sony Reader exclusively for Premium Subscribers from the Roadmap website.  They are not available through the Sony eBook Store.

 Three steps to get the eBook on your Sony Reader:

  1. Follow the download link directions to copy the eBook file to your computer.
  2. Using the Sony eLibrary application on your computer, drag and drop the eBook file into the eLibrary.  Follow Sony’s eLibrary directions in the Help files for “Importing Content from Your Computer.”  See illustration below.
  3. Connect your Sony Reader to your computer and transfer the eBook file from the eLibrary to your Reader.  Follow the directions in the eLibrary Help files for “Transferring Content to Reader…”  See illustration below.
